My Story
I’m Selena (Lena), a 28-year-old woman learning how to embrace life’s transitions with grace. For much of my twenties, I felt like I was always searching—searching for direction, identity, and clarity. A few months ago, I found myself in one of the hardest seasons yet: a season of stillness where I didn’t know who I was or where I was going. It was painful, confusing, and full of lessons I never expected to face.
But even in that space, God met me. Slowly, I began to rediscover myself, and in the process, I realized how much I wished there had been something like Leisure & Light—a place where women could land when life felt uncertain. A place that reminded us to rest, to lean into faith, and to trust that even in waiting, there’s purpose.
That’s why this blog exists. It’s my way of turning pain into something beautiful, of using what I’ve been through to uplift other women who may be in their own in-between seasons. Here, you’ll find reflections, encouragement, and gentle reminders that you’re not alone—and that you’re becoming exactly who God created you to be.
